Traveling to Corfu

The Island of Corfu has an international airport, Corfu International Airport "Ioannis Kapodistrias" (CFU), which is well-connected with many cities in Europe and Greece.

Traveling by Air:

  • Direct Flights: Many European cities offer direct flights to Corfu during the summer season.
  • Via Athens: Year-round, you can fly to Athens International Airport (ATH) and then take a domestic flight to Corfu (about 1 hour).

Traveling by Ferry:

From Greece:

  • Igoumenitsa: The main ferry route to Corfu is from Igoumenitsa (duration: 1-2 hours). Ferries operate frequently, and you can bring a car onboard.

 

From Italy:

Ferries to Corfu are available from several Italian ports, including:

  • Ancona to Corfu (overnight journey)
  • Bari to Corfu(approximately 9 hours)
  • Brindisi to Corfu (approximately 7-8 hours)

 

From Albania:

  •  Saranda to Corfu, which is a short trip (30-70 minutes).
